I am just an Unlucky Weirdo
— Yomi Martin

At 19, Yomi Martin was majoring in marketing on a full-ride athletic scholarship. While most student athletes are thinking about term papers, parties, and pro careers; Yomi had his eyes set on being his own boss. Using College as a resource for starting a company, a t-shirt company was created with $300. True story...his storefront was the trunk of his car!

Dream chasing, classes, bball practice, tshirt printing, was all way to time consuming; so something had to give. He traded in his hooping shoes and free school (yes...FREE school) for the secured and grounded least stressful life of an entrepreneur! Weird right? This life change was the beginning of several startups over the next few years ranging from clothing, restaurants, franchising to a night club with some consulting here and there in between. Most were successful, very successful, and some ended in a degree from the school of hard knocks. What remained prevelant/constant in his ventures was his passion for branding and commitment to building strong marketing platforms for companies.

Yomi Lives by the motto "as a company you can never be to visible, and seeing is believing". He's an a-typical Entrpreneur refusing to be put in a box. Yom has been the client as well as the consultant which has given him first hand experience in both worlds. Whether it's a need for a company makeover or name for a start up, tag line/slogan, campaign or whatever...he's ready to lace em' up and jump to it! However, he just cant break away from the basketball metaphors!

If you’re really successful at bullshitting, it means you’re not hanging around enough people smarter than you.

Once upon a time, Joey was an IT professional locked in a server room dealing with SOX compliance. The end.

Much like Cinderella, no one realized the beauty that was hiding behind the fireproof door of that server room. Then, we found him photographing some insanely beautiful images on the streets. He has been working with us for years and manages photography, videography, web builds and anything technology related. He has a passion for photography, technology and looks forward to challenges. Bring it on, we're in. Check out his portfolio.
